Our In-House Lab for Faster Results

Our on-site edging lab allows us to prepare many lenses in-house. This means:

  • Faster turnaround times for your glasses
  • Greater control over lens quality and customization
  • The ability to work with complex prescriptions and frame styles

We can also edge lenses into existing frames, customize rimless designs, and assist with certain repairs when needed. Ask our team about the process next time you visit!

Seeing More, So We Can Do More

Understanding your eye health starts with being able to see what is happening beneath the surface. Many eye conditions develop gradually and without noticeable symptoms, which is why detailed imaging plays such an important role in early detection.

With our diagnostic technology, we can identify subtle changes in the retina and optic nerve before they begin to affect your vision. This allows us to monitor your eyes over time, compare results, and make informed decisions about your care based on objective findings.

Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) provides high-resolution, cross-sectional images of the retina and optic nerve. This allows us to examine the individual layers of the eye in detail and detect changes that are not visible during a standard exam.

OCT is particularly helpful for identifying and monitoring conditions such as glaucoma and macular degeneration, and for tracking their progression over time. By comparing scans from previous visits, we can see even small changes and adjust your care plan accordingly.

optomap retinal imaging captures a wide-field view of your retina in a single image, allowing us to examine areas that are often difficult to assess with traditional methods. This broader perspective helps us detect early signs of retinal disease and better understand your overall eye health.

These images also serve as a baseline, making it easier to monitor changes over time and provide a clear visual reference when discussing your eye health with you.

Visual field testing measures how well you see in your peripheral vision, which is often affected first in conditions like glaucoma. Changes in peripheral vision can occur gradually and may not be noticeable without testing.

This assessment helps us detect functional changes in how your eyes are working, complementing the structural information gathered through imaging. Together, these tests provide a more complete picture of your eye health and support more accurate diagnosis and monitoring.

Our technology begins working its magic even before you see the doctor. Before your exam begins, we use pre-testing equipment to gather detailed measurements of your eyes:

  • Auto refractor and non-contact tonometry (NCT) for vision and eye pressure screening
  • Corneal and ocular measurements to support accurate prescriptions and diagnostics

These tools help streamline your visit and provide valuable clinical information to Dr. Mimouni.

Dry Eye Diagnostic Testing

Dry eye is one of the most common and often overlooked eye conditions. Our clinic places a strong focus on identifying the root cause of dry eye and guiding treatment based on objective data.

We use noninvasive, computerized testing to assess:

  • Tear film quality and stability
  • Meibomian gland function
  • Blink patterns and tear distribution

This allows us to build a treatment plan based on measurable findings.

IPL and Low-Level Light Therapy

We offer Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) and Low-Level Light Therapy (LLLT) as part of our dry eye treatment approach. These technologies help improve gland function and reduce inflammation associated with dry eye disease.

Each treatment plan is tailored to your condition, with a focus on improving comfort and long-term eye health.

A Technology-Driven, Patient-Focused Experience

We also offer access to modern eyewear technology, including AI-enabled smart glasses from brands like Ray-Ban and Oakley. Our in-office display allows you to explore these options and see how they fit into your daily life.

Every piece of technology in our clinic supports one goal: to provide clear answers and thoughtful care based on your individual needs. By combining detailed diagnostics, modern treatment options, and an in-house lab, we deliver a more efficient, personalized experience from start to finish.
